Save the Carnegie t-shirts are on now on sale around town.
Thunderbird Design designed and donated 72 shirts to help the cause. They’re $15 apiece and are available at city hall, Brigid’s Irish Pub and the Cabin Coffeehouse.
The Save the Carnegie steering committee has been working on securing grants and donations to help restore the aging building. They’ve also been distributing a packet recently (see below) with information on the Carnegie and its history.
The estimated cost of renovating the 102-year old building is $1.6 million. It’s on the National Registry of Historic Places.
